Frenchman Kevin Sireau set a new cycling world record at the 200m flying start distance at the Moscow Grand Prix on Friday.

Sireau clocked 9.650 seconds, beating the previous record time of 9.772 seconds, which Theo Bos of the Netherlands set on December 16, 2006 at the UCI World Cup likewise at the same Moscow track.
